Welcome to Your Irish Fair
for the other 362 days of the year!
Celebrating Irish heritage with music, dance, family and good craic!
Every year thousands and thousands of people join together at the Irish Fair for a weekend dedicated to celebrating the rich culture and heritage of the Irish. Last year nearly 100,000 people attended the Minnesota Irish Fair, over 300 volunteers helped during the festival, another 30 volunteers fill year-round positions and several dozen are involved in committees.
Our mission and vision here at the Irish Fair center on preserving tradition while remaining relevant and linking the past, present and future of Irish culture in Minnesota.
With that in mind, we believe our online community can be a place to continue through the year making Irish connections, enjoying Irish culture, music, dance, and generally good craic!
So welcome, and thank you for continuing to make the Irish Fair one of the most family-friendly events in the Twin Cities, one of the most authentic Irish festivals nationwide and an amazingly great time!
As with any community, an online community takes
participation - from YOU.
We invite, encourage and applaud your involvement. There are many ways to be involved:
1) Update your profile. We got you started with a basic username and your email address - but people want to know who you are! Post your photos and videos, share your interests in Irish culture, music, dance, dogs, travel or anything you want to talk about. We guarantee there are others who are just as crazy for the Irish!
2) Join a Group - in fact, join lots of groups! Joining a group puts you in touch with others about a specific topic. It's the best and easiest way to connect about the things you're wild for. Participate in discussions, make sure the events you hear about are posted and find other events you didn't know were happening. Get in the loop!
3) Don't just sit there! The Irish are too social to stay home and email all the time. Grab a friend, old or new, and celebrate your Irish nature. Whether you're heading for the pub, the dog park, a concert or the bookstore, an Irish Fair Community friend makes it twice the fun.
4) And don't forget to make plans for meeting at the Irish Fair on beautiful Harriet Island across from downtown St. Paul.
